Our Trustees

Brian Armstrong is our chair of trustees. He has worked in the public, private & charitable sectors gaining a broad experience in accounting and financial management and business processes. He is particularly interested in young businesses where he can add value to the team through sharing his knowledge & experience in developing & implementing business plans. He adopts a multi-disciplinary approach to problem-solving when assessing skills gaps in organisations in order to identify what external expertise needs to be brought in to achieve stated goals. He is passionate about the kingdom and the impact the church can have on homelessness, poverty and social inequality.

Tom Ward’s calling to work with vulnerable adults and addiction stretches over eighteen years of valuable experience with the marginalised and homeless. This was gained at Yeldall Manor and Prospects, not forgetting his contribution to solving homelessness with Wycombe District Council. These, teamed with his desire to see churches engage with homelessness, brought vision to Hope Into Action: Black Country. Tom is married and studying towards an MA in Christian leadership and Theology and actively involved with Reading Family Church. Tom is our trustee for the charitable sector, compliance, policies and procedures. He is also the vice-chair.

Anthony Henson is the pastor for Grace Church Wolverhampton which he planted alongside a team in 2012. He has been involved in church leadership and church planting for 30 years and is part of the core team of the Catalyst sphere of New Frontiers. He is married with 4 grown up children who are all involved in some form of church leadership and has a number of grandchildren too. He is the trustee who carries responsibility for staff welfare, pastoral care and relationship with partner churches.

Chris Green is a Strategic Internet Marketer with a passion to see small and medium sized businesses succeed and thrive. He runs his own business providing high impact internet marketing strategies, is a husband and father of three and is heavily involved in his local church Kingsway Wombourne. Chris has recently joined our team as our trustee for marketing, communications and fundraising.

Sally Lloyd is a stay at home mother of two (soon to be three children). She has played a key role in the planting of Grace Church with Anthony Henson and the founding of Hope into Action: Black Country from the start. She has been involved in church leadership in relation to both worship and the prophetic for a number of years. Sally has a background in finance and has been assisting with the finance team providing accountability and oversight. She is our trustee for prayer and the prophetic bringing an edge of spiritual insight and gifting to the team.
